MongoDB is made in New York City, and while 10gen has since expanded to the west coast, we love being part of the New York tech community. That’s why we are so excited to support HackNY.
HackNY connects talented students with startups in New York. We have had a lot of fun introducing MongoDB to the next generation of student hackers at the HackNY hackathons. We participated in the first summer fellows program last year, and look forward to hosting summer fellows in the future.
HackNY is a non-profit, and this year the organization hopes to expand. To support that growth, the 2010 summer fellows have started a Kickstarter page with a goal of raising $9,000. For the next seven days, 10gen will match all donations to the Kickstarter project. So please give!
