We’re seeing tutorials from the MongoDB community about introducing MongoDB with Ruby… with the OpenShift or CloudFoundry platforms… with Spring… on using MongoDB’s MapReduce or geospatial indexing features. Are you a MongoDB expert who has a tutorial to share? If so, we’d love to hear from you in our July developer blog contest.
Contest Rules
The rules are simple: share your knowledge of MongoDB by writing a tutorial or updating a tutorial that you have already created. Do it all in a detailed blog post, with step-by-step instructions for building an application with MongoDB or using MongoDB with a certain language, tool, platform, or framework. You can also submit a tutorial on using a specific MongoDB feature – Map/Reduce, capped collections, geo, or sharding would all be great topics. Here are some guidelines to get you started:- Include step-by-step instructions. Would someone brand new to MongoDB be able to get up and running after reading your post?
- Include code samples
- Consider including something interactive, for example a video or interactive tutorial like mongly.com or try.mongodb.org
We’ll announce the winner in early August. The winner will receive all the prizes listed below, and everyone who enters will receive a MongoDB coffee mug.
